Identity Crisis

Last night I could not sleep. I kept thinking of a off-hand comment that someone made describing me. I’m sure they didn’t mean it the way I took it, but the comment keeps swirling in my head…even leading me to tears…until God said,

“Do you want to believe what they said about you – when they have only seen a portion of your life- or do you want to believe what I say about you – the one who sees all that you’ve been through, where you are right now, and what you’ll become?”

I chose to believe God…and went to sleep.

Isaiah 43:1….Fear not, I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine.
